The Infamous Juan Williams |
So, a couple days/weeks ago, a man, by the name of Juan Williams, appeared on Bill O'Reiley's show, the O'Riley Factor. The show was a regular. O'Reiley made some controversial conservative remark and spent an hour debating on the its "integrity". It was so regular that even the nature of the topic was banal: Islam and its manifestation in American airports. Too make this dumbass show even more quirky, Williams, a conservative reporter/analyst from NPR, decided to make an awesome remark. Ready for it? Juan Williams gets nervous when he sees Muslims in traditional garb at the airport. That's right, ladies and gentlemen. Juan Williams!
Who cares? Juan Williams is a nobody-- no group would get anything by firing him. Who the hell has even heard of him? NPR listners? Who are they? Why DID Muslims choose to attack him? Muslims would be better off attacking O'Reiley. Unless, of course, Williams's remarks were so offensive that people were hurt. No, that obviously can't be the reason why.

Fox News's Megyn Kelly |
Let's analyze this political "thinker" a little more. Not only was Juan Williams asking to get fired, which he did, thank God, but also he was dying to get owned by the Council on American-Islamic Relations(CAIR) the largest Islamic care group in the States. At one point, according to Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, the man so-called "supported" the Muslims. He just said they were not all evil....oh my god, really? But, in fact, Williams agreed with O'Riley's opinion, a 100%. He even said so himself...right before his little rant on Muslim garb. He rejects a Civil right that even the most conservative of presidents (that's right, George W. Bush) accepted: the end of Racial Profiling. So yeah, to answer Megyn Kelly's question about Williams's firing ("Are you happy?")....yes, I am. NPR is one of the most pristine, though not the most popular, media entities still left on the planet. It is no place for a dumbass like Juan Williams.
At the end of the day, men like Juan Williams simply do not have a place in 21st century politics--even a bigotted jerk-off like Bill O'Reiley didn't make CAIR angry.

Megyn Kelly is hot, but thats the only reason that fox news has women reporters not because they value their oppinion, its because in between the old white men arguing with each other they need something to keep your attention
